Month 1: Computer Fundamentals & Operating Systems

- Input & Output Devices: Proper handling and function of Keyboard, Computer Mouse, Monitors, and Printers.
- Software Concepts: System Software vs. Application Software.
Module 2: Operating System (Working with Windows)
- User Interface: Introduction to the Desktop, Taskbar, Start Menu, and Icons.
- File Management: Creating, renaming, copying, moving, and deleting files and folders.
- System Settings: Understanding Control Panel, managing display settings, and user accounts.
- Accessories: Working with Notepad, WordPad, Paint, and Calculator.
Month 2: Core Office Automation (Word & Excel)
The second month builds practical data-entry, corporate documentation, and professional spreadsheet skills.
Module 3: Word Processing (Microsoft Word)
- Document Basics: Creating, saving, opening, and closing documents.
- Text Formatting: Font styles, sizes, colors, alignment, bullets, and numbering.
- Page Layout & Printing: Margin setups, page orientation, headers, footers, and print configuration.
- Advanced Features: Inserting tables, graphics, shapes, SmartArt, and utilizing Mail Merge for bulk letters.
Module 4: Spreadsheet Applications (Microsoft Excel)
- Workbook Fundamentals: Understanding cells, rows, columns, and worksheets.
- Data Manipulation: Entering data, sorting, filtering, and conditional formatting.
- Formulas & Functions: Mastery over core formulas like
SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, MIN, and introductory VLOOKUP. - Data Visualization: Creating and customizing charts and graphs to represent data.
Month 3: Internet Technologies & Digital Services
The final month bridges the gap between local computer work, internet utilities, and safe digital communication.
Module 5: Internet, Email & Digital Communication
- Web Navigation: Introduction to the Internet, search engines, and web browsers.
- Email Management: Creating professional email accounts, composing, sending, forwarding, using CC/BCC, and adding attachments.
- Cloud Storage & Services: Working with online storage like Google Drive and navigating online utility, recruitment, or admission portals.
- Cybersecurity Basics: Creating strong passwords, identifying phishing scams, and safe browsing habits.
